Quality policy deployment in public Higher Education Institutions using Balanced Scorecard principles

Abstract

Communication of quality policy to all members of the organization and continually review its alignment with purpose and strategic vision of the institution is a key element of quality management in public higher education institutions. Therefore, a methodology for quality policy deployment in public higher education institutions based on the principles of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is developed and applied in this paper, translating the institution overall intent concerning quality of concrete and measurable actions.
