Virtuality, aesthetics and technics: from the mask gas to the invention of a new sensibility
Abstract
Sometimes, a technical research leads to a mathematical model that virtualizes the studied phenomenon. Soon thereafter, we can see that the phenomenon in question is only an update among many others, often from very different domains. This situation is often linked to the renewal of old ways of seeing things, ways that we think were outdated, but that might transform our sensibility.References
