STS studies: a pragamatist approach
Abstract
John Dewey’s political philosophy is featured here as the second order reflection needed in the field of CTS studies. These empirical investigations, when approached from a pragmatist point of view, plead for the suitability of developing a political philosophy of science and technology. It is argued in favor of a pragmatist approach in order to deal relevantly with problems in that field of research.
