ITM’s Scientific Journal System: A Strategic Bet on Scientific Publication Management
Abstract
In 2017, supported by the Fondo Editorial ITM, the journals of the Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano (ITM) redefined their internal process of scientific publication. This was due to three reasons: (1) they had been operating based on their own efforts; (2) they had coexisted with and depended, for their creation and maintenance, on the political and economic will of different dependencies, faculties, or departments that, in turn, had been operating according to their particular scopes; and (3) they had been working individually to disseminate research results.
