The technology in the cultural - historical perspective: philosophical and educational considerations to think about technological civilization
Abstract
The intention of this paper is to present an outline on the advances of the technique that we are witnessing throughout the ages. By means of theoretical references, it was possible to define various conceptions and insights about the evolution of the technological society. Arising from this scenario, it is necessary to understand the technique in its socio-historical-cultural dimension in order to achieve an understanding about the man relationship with the technology. We must start educating from the radical nature of the problem, always contextualizing the cultural and historical process in order to think and analyze the facts and events that occurred throughout the years. Only then we can contribute with reflections and considerations about how to educate during times of crises in the technological civilization.References
